     Salsbury Enterprises is accredited by the Better Business Bureau.

     Salsbury Enterprises was established in 1972 as a partnership between Larry and Barbara Salsbury, and is entering its 38th consecutive year in business. The many books, manuals, planners money management tools, seminars and workshops produced by Salsbury Enterprises focus on teaching the knowledge and skills necessary to cope with the multi-faceted parameters of self reliance. Based on extensive research and personal experience, the subjects covered range from Emergency or Personal Preparedness and 72 hour Survival/Emergency Evacuation to Supermarket Survival and Beating the High Cost of Eating. Our little company has grown from existing with a door across two saw horses with a file cabinet in our bedroom to an office complex in the lower level of our home.

About Barbara Salsbury

     Bestselling author Barbara is a nationally-recognized personal-preparedness expert, and one of the nation’s leading authorities on self-reliance. For more than twenty-five years, she has been teaching people how to get more for their money and be self-reliant.

     She has been owner/partner and CEO of Salsbury Enterprises since its creation She is the author of twelve books, two national newsletters, and is the producer of three videos. The newsletter the Shopper’s Report had a national following for several years. Her books include Just In Case, Plan Not Panic, the best seller, Just Add Water, and Beating the High cost of Eating , It’s Time to Plan Not Panic and the latest best seller Preparedness Principles was released in July 2006.

     Barbara is listed in many directories such as The World’s Who’s Who of Women, The International Book of Honor, and The International Who’s Who of Professional and Business Women.

     She has lectured extensively and conducted many workshop/seminar discussions for civic, professional, and church groups, including teaching Education Week at Brigham Young University. She has had several weekly TV programs on consumer affairs, and has been a regular on a national cable-television program as the consumer specialist. She is a veteran of the national television and radio talk-show circuit. She has been an emergency-preparedness consultant for several cities, including San Francisco, CA. Currently, she is a Personal Preparedness consultant for the city of Sandy, Utah.

     One of her most recent works is Your Personal Preparedness Disaster Planner. It was written for the residents of Sandy, Utah. Over 40,000 copies were distributed, one for every household in the city. She then taught workshops for the citizens based on the Planner.

About Larry Salsbury

     For most of his career, Larry has been a partner in Salsbury Enterprises and has done consulting and contract work. He is a journeyman electrician and also has a Bachelors of Science degree in business administration. He is also a certified Professional Bookkeeper. One of Larry’s contracts with Santa Clara County, California as a Contracts Administrator in the construction of the Santa Clara County Light Rail System lasted for 17 years. He managed more than 175 contracts at one time.

     The other simultaneous half of his career has been to function as owner and Chief Financial Officer for Salsbury Enterprises, also carrying the responsibilities of sales and marketing. His talent for design and creative ability has been used in the many products that he has created for Salsbury Enterprises; from expanding quilt frames to food dehydrators, from stack gardens to video production sets. He has traveled extensively with Barbara to trade shows, workshops and more.

     He has created the illustrations for many of Barbara’s books and many of the visual aids used in the workshops. Most of the statistical graphics, charts and comparisons in the books are Larry’s work.

     Barbara and Larry are active in church and community. They live in Sandy, Utah and have two children and seven grandchildren.
